jnsa (JIN-suh) [b. 2002], aka Josiah Adrineda, is defined by a fragmentation rooted in the absurd. This fragmentation has transformed jnsa into an avid multidisciplinarian, working within and between the realms of contemporary orchestral composition (Stage), game and film scoring (Screen), digital music production (Speakers), and music technology (System). Consequently, his aesthetic is more reminiscent of an organism than an artifact — morphing, shifting, in a perpetual state of motion. His current influences include modern jazz/neo soul, ambient electronic music in video games, the hit animated series Arcane, and VTubers.
jnsa hopes to serve as a beacon for Gen Z and other like-minded individuals, those overwhelmed by the infinitude of choices brought about by the modern world; because this is the world into which jnsa was born — and the one from which he forges identity.
jnsa is currently pursuing his M.A. in Music Composition at the University of California, Berkeley, following dual B.A. degrees in Music and Computer Science from the same institution.
